Sibel Adali is an Assistant Professor in Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, which she joined in 1996 after her PhD from University of Maryland. At RPI, she leads the Multimedia Information Integration Lab. Her research focuses on heterogeneous distributed information systems, database interoperability, query optimization, and multimedia information systems
