Min Li

About

Dr. Min Li joined the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as an Assistant Professor in August 2023. Prior to this appointment, she was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Michigan--Ann Arbor from 2021 to 2023. Dr. Li earned her Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from Colorado State University in 2021. Additionally, she holds a B.Eng. degree in Civil Engineering and an M.S. degree in Structural Engineering, both from Southeast University, China. Dr. Li's research primarily focuses on risk assessment and mitigation, as well as resilience-based decision-making for civil infrastructure under natural hazards. She leverages surrogate model, machine learning, and data analytics in her work to improve computational efficiency and enable solutions to complex engineering problems.
