Min Li

Dr. Min Li joined the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as an Assistant Professor in August 2023. Prior to this appointment, she was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Michigan--Ann Arbor from 2021 to 2023. Dr. Li earned her Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from Colorado State University in 2021. Additionally, she holds a B.Eng. degree in Civil Engineering and an M.S. degree in Structural Engineering, both from Southeast University, China. Dr. Li's research primarily focuses on risk assessment and mitigation, as well as resilience-based decision-making for civil infrastructure under natural hazards. She leverages surrogate model, machine learning, and data analytics in her work to improve computational efficiency and enable solutions to complex engineering problems.
