Associate Professor, Electrical, Computer, and Systems Engineering
I am an Associate Professor of Electrical, Computer, and Systems Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. My research interests include statistical learning theory, information theory, statistical signal processing, and wireless communications, with applications to power system operations. During 2010-2012 I was a Postrocoral Research Associate at Princeton University, and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University. Prior to that I was Columbia Universith during 2007-2010, where I received the M.A. degree in Statistics and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering.
I am serving as an Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Communications, as an Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid, and as an Associate Editor for the IET Transactions on Smart Grid. Prior to that I have served as a Guest Editor-in-Chief for the IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid -- Special Issue on the Theory of Complex Systems with Application to Smart Grid Operations, and as a Guest Editor for the IEEE Signal Processing Magazine. I am a Senior Member of the IEEE, received an NSF CAREER award in 2016, Rensselaer School of Engineering Research Excellence Award in 2017, and Rensseler School of Engineering Classroom Excellence Award in 2018.
