Dr. Felix is currently focused on undergraduate education, including Controls courses, Multidiciplinary Capstone Design, independent study and advising.
Prior to joining the Mechanical, Aerospace, and Nuclear Engineering department at Rensselaer, Dr. Felix worked for 14 years at industry and research organizations including Bechtel, Pratt & Whitney, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and General Electric Research. Dr. Felix’s interests lie in controls & automation, mechanical design, and system integration; and she has worked on applications as diverse as biomedical devices, additive manufacturing, defense, and transportation.
