Thomas D. Shohfi

Assistant Professor, Lally School of Management
Tom Shohfi is an assistant professor of accounting and Finance at the Lally School of Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.He holds an undergraduate degree in computer science and mathematics from New York university, an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with concentrations in investment management and entrepreneurship, and a doctorate in financial economics from the University of Pittsburgh. His research has been published in peer re- viewed journals including Accounting, Organizations, and Society, Contemporary Accounting Research, the Journal of Banking & Finance, the Journal of Corporate Finance, and the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization. Mr. Shohfi holds the Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, and Financial Risk Manager designations.
