About
I am broadly interested in theoretical and algorithmic aspects of mathematical statistics, information theory, and machine learning. The application domains that drive my research are power systems and wireless communication networks.
I am currently an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Information Theory and an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing. In the past, I have served as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Communications, an Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Smart Grids, a Guest Editor for the IEEE Signal Processing Magazine, and a Guest Editor-in-Chief for the IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid. I received an NSF CAREER Award in 2016, the Jury Award for Excellence in Research in 2011 from Columbia University, and the James M . Tien '66 Early Career award from Rensselaer.
