About

Dr. Kevin A. Fletcher serves as Professor of Practice and Director of Undergraduate Programs for Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s Lally School of Management.  Dr. Fletcher brings a wide and varied background that includes nonprofit management, business ownership, and an interest in the ways businesses impact and interact with the natural environment.  He most recently served as Associate Professor as well as Undergraduate Program Director and Department Chair for the Russell Sage College School of Management.

Fletcher earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from SUNY Geneseo, and Master of Science (Environmental Management & Policy) and Doctoral (Management) degrees from Rensselaer. Immediately following his graduate work, he spent the better part of a decade as Executive Director for an environmental non-profit, Audubon International, which provided environmental education, consulting, and eco-certification programs for small businesses, new developments, and communities.  He left this position in 2011 to help launch an environmental risk management business, e-par USA, Inc., in the North American market with colleagues from Australia before making the decision to return to academia.  Over the years, he has, and continues, to provided project-based consulting, research, and training services to organizations—focusing on strategy development, change management, and sustainability —through his firm, Greener Futures Consulting, LLC.
