I am interested in the political economy of energy production, particularly how institutions shape resource extraction and the infrastructure through which extraction occurs. I study how markets, legal systems, and regulatory regimes mediate energy production decisions, the governance of environmental impacts, and the distribution of environmental risks across communities.
